About Jan

Jan has been a member of the Mckinney Art House and is a studio artist in our Pottery studio. Jan loves throwing on the wheel and hand building. Jan prefers making functional pottery and deciding what texture to add, if any, to compliment the piece and its shape.

Describing some of her inspiration, I’m always inspired by nature and all its colors. I’m not always after the perfectly made piece. I like the organic look and feel just like nature exhibits. I’m a hobbyist potter and love watching the piece come together.
