Eunhye Lee

Hello! My name is Eunhye Lee, and I am the founder and director of Daart Studio, located at the McKinney Art House in Texas. Together with our talented instructors, including Alana Fletcher and Geunha Kim, we provide inspiring and high-quality art education for children, teens, and adults.
I have over 15 years of teaching experience, including teaching art in public schools and guiding students through portfolio preparation. I hold degrees from Hongik University in South Korea and Goldsmiths, University of London, and I continue to work as a practicing artist, exhibiting my work internationally.
At Daart Studio, I believe art education should be about much more than learning techniques. In addition to teaching students, I have worked as a curriculum developer and teacher trainer, creating art education programs and supporting fellow art educators. This experience has shaped my approach to designing thoughtful, age-appropriate curricula that encourage creativity, curiosity, and critical thinking while supporting each student's developmental stage.
Our students explore art history, learn from influential artists, experiment with a variety of materials and techniques, and develop their own unique artistic voice. Rather than simply copying images, they are encouraged to observe, think, imagine, and create with confidence.
We also offer portfolio preparation for students pursuing art, design, and architecture programs, as well as guidance for art competitions. Whether a student is discovering art for the first time or preparing for a creative career, our goal is to help each individual grow both artistically and personally.
Being part of the McKinney Art House community has been a true privilege. I am grateful for the opportunity to share my passion for art with so many wonderful students and families, and I look forward to welcoming many more young artists to Daart Studio in the years ahead.
